‘The Most Corrupt President’: Trump Claimed He ‘Sacrificed Greatly’ by Giving Up His Empire to Serve America—But What He Pocketed on the Side Has Critics Calling It the Ultimate Hustle

News - Thu, 08/07/2025 - 16:00

President Donald Trump is using the power of his office for personal financial gain like no other president in history, recent investigations of his finances reveal.

Relying on financial documents disclosed during his 2024 civil fraud trial, The New York Times discovered that Trump has rebounded from a shaky financial period prior to his reelection in November when most of his real estate ventures were losing money and a wave of legal judgments threatened to consume all of his cash.

Since then, Trump and his two eldest sons, Eric and Donald Jr., have refocused the family business on a series of foreign development deals, cryptocurrency partnerships and licensing deals leveraging the family name that have more than doubled his net worth to at least $5 billion and possibly as much as $10 billion.

And as the president and the Trump Organization are raking in cash from these new ventures, the Trump administration is removing many of the guardrails of oversight designed to prevent self-dealing and conflicts of interest.

“He is president and supposed to be working in the public’s interest,” James Thurber, an emeritus professor at American University with expertise on lobbying, campaign finance and political corruption told AP News. “Instead, he is helping his own personal interest to grow his wealth. It’s totally not normal.”

While Trump’s office tower on 40 Wall Street in Manhattan and most of his 14 golf course resort properties have lost money in recent years, bringing his cash on hand to between $300 million and $400 million in 2023, his wealth is now built on monetizing the family name and the office of presidency in new ways, the Times reported.

After he clinched the Republican nomination, the Trump organization announced nine foreign development and licensing deals, including a golf resort in Qatar, residential towers in Dubai, Riyadh, and Jeddah, and other licensing deals in Vietnam and Serbia.

These real estate developments often involve licensing the Trump name for glitzy hotels and residences, including in those Middle Eastern countries where the U.S. has allies and political interests, Bloomberg noted.

In its deal with Trump International Oman, which includes a hotel, golf courses and residences, the Trump Organization is profiting from a deal linked to the government of Oman, a U.S. ally.

The project, developed by Dar Global, the international arm of Saudi real estate giant Dar Al Arkan in partnership with Oman’s state-owned tourism group, advertises “hands-off investment expertly managed by Trump while you generate income passively,” Bloomberg reported, observing that Oman has been playing a central role in high-stakes nuclear negotiations with Iran.

Trump is not required to divulge the full amount promised to him in any of his licensing deals, only what he takes in annually, including management fees, the Times noted. What information he has released indicates the Trumps have raised the price for use of their name — Trump’s fees in licensing contracts rose from $750,000 to $1 million during his television celebrity years to $5 million in more recent foreign deals, according to tax and financial disclosure forms.

Cryptocurrency is the Trump family’s biggest cash cow at present.

One of Trump’s cryptocurrencies, the $Trump meme coin, is estimated to have earned at least $320 million in fees since January, according to Chainalysis, a crypto analytics firm, while another received a $2 billion investment from a United Arab Emirates-controlled wealth fund founded by a convicted felon, reported AP News. A third has sold at least $550 million in tokens.

Trump has pledged to turn the U.S. into the “crypto capital of the world” and promised to roll back oversight of the industry.

Earlier this month he signed cryptocurrency legislation approved by Congress which includes regulations aimed at making a specific kind of digital currency called stablecoins more accessible and mainstream. It also bans members of Congress from using their own brand of stablecoins. The ban does not extend to the president.

Last year Trump announced the launch of his own crypto coin, $WLFI, and World Liberty Financial, a cryptocurrency firm to be run by his sons and several business associates, reported AP News. Among those associates was Steve Witkoff, now one of Trump’s top diplomatic envoys in the Middle East. The coin was not initially successful, but sales took off after Trump’s election in November, reaching over $550 million by year’s end. Trump made $57 million off the crypto coin in its first quarter, according to a financial disclosure.

In another move to capitalize on the Trump brand while in office, Eric and Donald Trump Jr. recently took an active role in launching a new U.S.-based manufacturing-focused SPAC (special-purpose acquisition company), according to the Wall Street Journal. The brothers are serving as advisers and hold shares in the SPAC, which aims to raise $100 million. Critics say the move raises ethical concerns, as it opens another financial pipeline for the Trump family to benefit from ventures whose success may hinge on their father’s influence.

During his first term, Trump “gave a nod toward ethics,” AP noted, issuing a moratorium on foreign deals, and while shunning the tradition of past presidents placing their assets in a blind trust, he handed control of the Trump Organization over to his children while still keeping his financial holdings close.

In his second term, his sons Eric and Donald Jr. are running the business while Trump is in office, emboldened by last summer’s Supreme Court ruling that presidents have broad immunity from prosecution. And though the White House says the president is not involved in its day-to-day decisions, the financial trust he has established continues to profit, and Trump openly promotes his resorts, crypto ventures and branded merchandise (including Trump bibles, $400 gold-colored shoes and cellphones) while in the White House and on his Truth Social account.

In the midst of raking in unprecedented wealth for his family while in office, Trump is feeling a bit generous. On Wednesday, he proudly shared on his Truth Social platform that he was the only president “with the exception of the Late, Great George Washington” to donate his salary. “My first ‘Paycheck’ went to the White House Historical Association, as we make much needed renovations to the beautiful ‘People’s House,” he wrote.

Trump’s presidential pay amounts to $400,000 annually, a drop in the bucket and a symbolic gesture compared to the hundreds of millions he’s generated from crypto, foreign licensing deals, luxury merchandise, and real estate ventures while in office.

— Republicans against Trump (@RpsAgainstTrump) August 6, 2025

The post drew swift backlash, including from the conservative watchdog group Republicans Against Trump, which responded: “The most corrupt president in history cashed in hundreds of millions from Bibles, cologne, crypto, global real estate deals, and a $400M jet from Qatar. Now he’s boasting about donating his salary. Shameless.”

The post drew hundreds of responses. One person wrote, “Donating his salary is the equivalent of a billionaire giving away pocket change. It’s a pathetic PR stunt to distract from the massive corruption. Nobody is fooled.”

“President Trump has been the most transparent president in history in all respects, including when it comes to his finances,” a White House spokesperson told Bloomberg. “President Trump handed over his multibillion-dollar empire in order to serve our country, and he has sacrificed greatly. President Trump has disclosed his financial holdings through his annual financial disclosure report and he will continue to do so.”

Much of Trump’s current holdings are not liquid, and the value of cryptocurrency is subject to wildly swinging market whims. Trump Media, the parent company of his social media network Truth Social, continues to lose money and struggles to produce a scanty $1 million in quarterly revenue, the Times noted.

Trump also has to contend with legal judgments of more than $600 million against him — $355 million from the civil fraud trial and $88 million in the sexual abuse and defamation suits brought by writer E. Jean Caroll, both of which he’s appealing. So far he has only had to pay $175 million in the fraud case and to post bonds totaling $97 million in Carroll’s cases.

“His approach to almost everything at this point now seems to be that he’s going to get away with whatever he can get away with, and sort of dare people to try to find legal or political ways to stop him,” said Noah Bookbinder, president of the liberal-leaning watchdog group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington.

‘What Grade Do I Need to Repeat’: Two Educators Go Viral for ‘Appropriate’ First Day Dresses, But Fans Zoom In and Get Distracted

News - Wed, 08/06/2025 - 23:14

Two educators have found themselves at the center of a viral conversation, and it’s not for their lesson plans or how they are treating their students. Instead, the two unidentified ladies have sparked chatter based on their work attire.

In a photo that was posted by The Bish Gossip page on Aug. 6 and shared across other pages and platforms, the two teachers are seen standing side-by-side in a school hallway smiling ear-to-ear. It appears the photo had been taken and posted amongst 72 additional photos by a school in Macon, Georgia, called L.H. Williams Elementary. The school’s Facebook account shared the photos in celebration of the start of the new year, but the post got some unexpected attention towards the two unidentified educators.

Both of the ladies were wearing similar fitted outfits. They each stood with one arm behind the other’s back grinning, while wearing long black maxi dresses. The one on the left’s dress had a white collar and sleeves that came beyond her elbow, and ended with white cuffs. The dress stopped inches above her ankle and she opted to wear sandals to finish off her look.

As for the woman standing next to her, her dress covered both of her legs. Like her peer, her dress also had a white collar but the sleeves stopped by her shoulders. She wore black and white closed toed mini heels.

Besides their black fitted dresses and white collars, what also made the women look similar is the fact that they both had their hair pressed and they had on black glasses.

The Bish Gossip page wrote, “Two Teachers Go Viral For Being Appropriately Dressed Like Teachers For Back To School Pics” as their caption.

Fans instantly praised the teachers.

“That’s how teachers should dress. I love it.”

“They are both beautiful!”

“I appreciate the classy educated woman.”

But once some fans zoomed in, the focus quickly shifted. One person responded, “That is not why they went viral.”

Another wrote, “No they went viral for all that body they got in them dresses. Yaass ladies.”

Someone else defending the women said, “Duhh they still have a figure even dressing like that.”

A fourth commented, “What grade do I need to repeat?”

It’s not clear what these two women think about going viral for their bodies. But, they aren’t the first teachers to have experienced this. Others have had the world debating on whether they have on appropriate attire that wouldn’t distract their students based on how curvy their bodies looked. Even Atlanta teacher Patrice Brown was fired at the end of the school year back in 2021, after she went viral for wearing a pink tight dress to school. Years prior, the hashtag #teacherbae was created for her by online users.

‘Why Did She Pull Her Up There?’: Katy Perry Concert Takes a Turn After Eager Fan Collapses Onstage

News - Wed, 08/06/2025 - 22:38

The fun at one of Katy Perry’s concerts hit a bit of a pause when a fan became overwhelmed.

The Billboard Music Award artist surprised a group of young girls with the opportunity to come on stage and perform with her during her Lifetime’s Tour. It’s a segment she’s been doing throughout her tour where she selects members from her audience and invites them on stage. But during her Aug. 3 stop in Detroit, her kind gesture turned into a brief moment of fear, in which Perry reacted quickly.

She brought four young fans on stage and began to prepare them to sing her 2010 hit single “The One That Got Away.” Three of the fans jumped in place excitedly as she walked them through the next steps. However, one of them, named McKenna, stood in place. She had a frightened expression, one that Perry apparently noticed, as she stood bent over speaking directly to McKenna as a form of reassurance.

“You know what? We’re going to play a really special song. You know ‘The One That Got Away,” she asked as the crowd roared. The group members nodded and jumped as Perry rubbed the nervous McKenna on her back.

She continued, “Well I want to invite you guys to be in the band tonight. Okay. In the band. Alright. I’m going to give you something that you’re going to have in your hand and you’re going to use it as a shaker.”

McKenna stood with her hands shaking, while slowly moving her head up and down. In an attempt to encourage her, Perry said, “McKenna this is going to be great,” before passing out a shaker to each member.

After giving each person an instrument, Perry turned to McKenna and said “OK. Let’s practice, you got this. Let’s breathe, let’s breathe.”

Three seconds later, McKenna collapsed on stage. Perry quickly fell to her knees next to McKenna to assist and make sure was alright.

Other stage crew members rushed on stage to assist Perry and the singer slowly lifted McKenna’s head up before the emergency team eventually came and carried McKenna off stage.

Before resuming the show, Perry formed a circle with the three other young fans and they said a prayer over McKenna asking that “she will come back fully and brighter and better than ever.”

Fans reacted to the video with mixed reviews.

One person said, “She was so nervous. Why did she pull her up there?”

A second wrote, ”She’s trembling. I would have told her to go sit back down.”

A third said, “How in the world did Katie not see she wasn’t feeling well? I noticed it at the beginning of the video!”

Others commended Perry for springing into action.

One commented, “She’s having a panic attack. KP did a great job. Mom mode kicked in over drive.”

Another said, “Katy could tell something was going to happen to this girl. That’s why she was so attentive to her from the start.”

Perry’s Lifetime Tour began in April and will wrap around December. Her overseas tour dates will start in September until the end of the tour.

‘You Will Do What I Say!’: White Oklahoma City Manager Tries to Bully Cop Out of Speeding Stop, Then Tries to Brush It Off — But Locals Say They’ve Seen This Side of Him Before

News - Wed, 08/06/2025 - 19:45

An Oklahoma city manager was caught on bodycam footage talking down to an officer and then threatening to fire him after the cop pulled him over for speeding.

The July 14 footage caught the moments a police officer stopped Daniel Bruton, the city manager of Konawa, Oklahoma.

Bruton, visibly irritated by the traffic stop, informs the cop that he’s working to address a water emergency affecting the town.

“You were just speeding, OK?” the officer tells Bruton.

“Write me a ticket if you want to, write me a ticket,” Bruton responds, before shouting profanities at the cop. “I want you to get your a** back to town!”

“OK, listen to me, I’m just trying to do my job, okay,” the cop says, trying to reason with Bruton.

“I’m telling you right now, you better get in that truck or you won’t have a job!” Bruton yells.

“This is my job. This is what I was hired to do,” the cop says.

“Well, this is my job, and I’m your boss—and I’m in a hurry,” Bruton responds.

“It doesn’t matter. You have to obey the law like everybody else,” the cop states.

“You’re about to not have a job, you understand that?” Bruton threatens.

After more heated back-and-forth, the cop finally dismisses Bruton with not ticket, no citation.

“I’m trying to be respectful with you here,” the officer says.

“Well, I’m not being respectful!” Bruton shouts.

Later that day, the city manager visits the station to further chastise the officer about the traffic stop.

“So let me explain something to you, when I got out of the truck and I told you there was a water emergency, that’s where you should have ended it,” Bruton is heard saying.

“OK, listen to me—,” the cop says.

“I’m not going to listen to you! I’m your boss. You will do what I say!” Bruton interjects.

“It doesn’t matter. You can’t break the law like that,” the officer responds.

“People break the law, and if you have a problem with it, then write me a f***ing ticket,” Bruton answers back.

Frustrated by the officer’s objections, Bruton calls Konawa Police Chief Bryan Russell and says, “I’m firing Jonathan right now,” before telling him his side of the story.

“Who says I can’t fire him,” Bruton retorts after seemingly receiving some pushback from the police chief.

Days after the video from the small town — about 1200 people — some 70 miles south of Oklahoma City was leaked and went viral online, Bruton apologized for his behavior, chalking it up to frustration with the water emergency. The city manager has not been publicly reprimanded for his behavior.

“[The officer] just caught the brunt of that from a situation that day. I didn’t mean anything towards him. He does a good job, and I apologized to him, and I’m making a public apology to him now,” Bruton told KFOR. “I’m embarrassed by it. I’m ashamed of it.”

Bruton hopes that “we can all move past it and I can grow from it as well.”

A former city of Konawa employee said that Bruton’s behavior, as seen on the bodycam footage, is nothing new. She explained how she had similar encounters with the city manager before she was fired from her job.

“I explained to the City Manager that I needed to change what was already posted, and it was time to go home,” said Dedee Clark. “He got very irritated, very agitated, told me it was fine. He told me to close down my computer and go home. He yelled out so loud that the hallway heard him, and multiple people came to me afterwards and said, ‘Are you okay?'”

According to KOCO, the video has triggered calls for changes in the city’s administration.

The officer in the bodycam footage is still employed by the Konawa Police Department.

‘Treated As We Were Animals’: Michigan Cops Mace Black Crowd Waiting on Orders at Food Truck, Arrest Professional Boxer for Dancing, Video Shows

News - Wed, 08/06/2025 - 18:29

A viral video that’s raising alarms online shows a group of police officers in Flint, Michigan, indiscriminately macing a group of Black people who were just gathered by a food truck waiting for their orders.

According to the Detroit Metro Times, the incident happened at 2 a.m. on Aug. 3 at the Family Recipes x All the Smoke food truck stop.

Witnesses stated that the cops pulled up and demanded that the food truck staff members close down shop for the night because it was getting late.

When the owner, Leon Lawson II, asked the cops if he could finish the remaining orders before shutting down, the officers allowed him to complete the dishes in progress.

They left, but returned a short time later, blasting sirens from their patrol cars.

“It agitated them that we were still fulfilling orders, but we weren’t taking new orders,” Lawson told Metro Times. “They weren’t getting the effect they were expecting.”

A 10-minute video of the scene showed the moments the cop cars pulled up, sounding loud sirens and pointing flashlights at the crowd.

Lawson’s son, Leon Lawson III, was seen preparing food on the grill and dancing to the sound of the sirens as soon as police came back.

Two cops exited the car, rushed toward Lawson, then grabbed and handcuffed him, even though he wasn’t displaying combative behavior and didn’t appear to be committing an offense. One of the cops also shoved another person who was standing near Lawson.

Lawson didn’t resist, but his detainment drew shouts of protest from the crowd witnessing the arrest.

“We just trying to get our food!” crowd members shout.

“What do I do about my food?” one woman asked.

“Go home,” the cop responded. “Go to McDonald’s.”

After placing Lawson in the back of a cop car, one cop returns, shouts at the onlookers, and sprays a substance directly at them, eliciting coughs from several people. The substance also landed on the grill, where the food was still cooking.

People are seen immediately dispersing from the area.

“These weren’t gangsters waiting on their food,” Lawson II says. “These are regular citizens. They could have de-escalated and told people to go home. It was sad. It was a black eye to our city.”

Footage of the incident has garnered over 80,000 views on Facebook as of Aug. 5.

Viewers flooded the comments, condemning the police for their behavior and accusing them of using excessive force.

“That was totally uncalled for from the beginning how can you bridge the gap with your community,” one person wrote.

“This is crazy. At least they could have communicated before taking action. A simple finish up and shut down would have solved the problem but they get pleasure from roughing people up,” someone else commented.

“I hope all these cops get what they got coming. Harassing hard working Americans while there’s criminals shooting, drug dealers selling and people dying. Whack how much of a police state flint has become over s*** they control,” another person added.

A police report was filed by one of the crowd members, according to Metro Times. Neither Flint Police Chief Terence Green nor Flint Mayor Sheldon Neeley has publicly commented on the incident.

‘No Way! Is That …!’: Cameron Diaz, 52, Sparks Online Buzz With a New Look That Has Fans Wondering if It’s Really Her

News - Wed, 08/06/2025 - 17:36

Romantic comedy queen Cameron Diaz was recently photographed with a bare face.

Diaz, 52, stepped out in New York City in an all-denim outfit over the weekend. In one hand, she held her cellphone and with the other she carried a shopping bag.

The “There’s Something About Mary” actress was captured smiling in the direction of the camera as she walked down the streets of the Big Apple.

When images of Diaz made their way to the internet, fans began to weigh in on the Hollywood veteran’s makeup-free appearance.

“She’s a beautiful girl, with or without makeup,” one Daily Mail reader wrote in the tabloid publication’s comment section. Another wrote, “She looks genuinely happy. Good on her.”

A third comment read, “Why shouldn’t she look natural? It’s a refreshing change from the fakeness that is all over Hollywood. Good for her for showing her natural beauty.”

“She looks fine. Like most women on the go. She did not dress to impress and do her hair and makeup. Women aren’t supposed to look like Barbie dolls 24/7, despite what Ivanka [Trump] and Beyoncé showed you,” one person argued.

However, Diaz did not escape online negativity. For instance, a less-than impressed critic stated, “That’s a rough looking 52.” Someone else posted, “No way is that Cameron Diaz!”

Haters faced pushback, too. Diaz got backup when a commenter said, “I am tired of the attacks on women without makeup. Let them live. I am so glad I don’t get scrutinized everyday for just being outside.”

“I never thought she was one of the best-looking actresses,” someone offered. In a more mixed reaction, one observer focused on Diaz’s on-screen work, writing, “Never much of an actress but she seems like a sweet person.”

Diaz broke out as a movie star in the 1990s with performances in popular motion pictures such as 1994’s “The Mask,” 1997’s “My Best Friend’s Wedding,” 1998’s “There’s Something About Mary,” and 1999’s “Any Given Sunday.”

She later teamed up with Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu for “Charlie’s Angels” and “Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle.” The Long Beach, California native also voiced Princess Fiona in the “Shrek” animated franchise.

Diaz made her acting comeback when Netflix’s “Back in Action” with Jamie Foxx premiered in January 2025. Before the Seth Gordon-directed feature arrived on the streaming service, rumors of behind-the-scenes drama made headlines.

Foxx, 57, was accused of having a “major meltdown” during the filming of “Back in Action” which supposedly caused production to be halted. In December 2023, Diaz used her time on the “Lipstick on the Rim” podcast to defend her co-star.

“Jamie is the best. I love that guy so much. He’s such a special person, and he’s so talented, so much fun. I really hate all of the things that were being said about our set,” Diaz expressed. “You want to scream at the top of your lungs.”

The New York Times bestselling author added, “Jamie is like the cheerleader for the entire crew and everybody loves him, we have so much fun on the set with him. And he’s just a professional on every level.”

Diaz is set to return as Princess Fiona in the upcoming “Shrek 5.” Universal Pictures is expected to release the star-studded sequel in December 2026. The cast also features Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, and Zendaya.

‘First One Ain’t Even Her Starting Face’: Fans Torch Megyn Kelly for Calling Beyoncé ‘Fake’ Compared to Sydney Sweeney Then Drop Vicious Receipts of Her Own Transformation

News - Wed, 08/06/2025 - 16:48

Beyoncé has once again found herself in the crosshairs of conservative commentator Megyn Kelly. The conservative pundit is now under fire for slamming the superstar’s Levi’s campaign while praising actress Sydney Sweeney’s American Eagle ad. Her remarks have reignited backlash from fans accusing her of having a long-standing bias against the Grammy winner while ignoring her accomplishments.

The latest wave of criticism began when Kelly took to X to voice her disapproval of Beyoncé’s denim-focused Levi’s ad, which showcases the artist in vintage Americana aesthetics — platinum blond hair, denim outfits, and cinematic scenes like motorcycle rides and laundromat hangouts. The campaign is a nod to Levi’s iconic commercials from the ’80s and ’90s and places Beyoncé at the center of a modern reimagining of classic American style.

Megyn Kelly sparked backlash after calling Beyoncé “artificial” and “fake” while praising Sydney Sweeney’s jeans ad, with fans slamming Kelly’s obsession with the superstar. (Photos: @beyonce/Instagram, @megynkelly/Instagram)

But Kelly didn’t hold back.

“This is the opposite of the Sydney Sweeney ad. Quite clearly there is nothing natural about Beyonce,” she wrote in her Aug. 5 post. “Everything — from her image to her fame to her success to her look below — is bought and paid for. Screams artificial, fake, enhanced, trying too hard.”

This is the opposite of the Sydney Sweeney ad. Quite clearly there is nothing natural about Beyonce. Everything – from her image to her fame to her success to her look below – is bought and paid for. Screams artificial, fake, enhanced, trying too hard. https://t.co/sQXijTgrJn

— Megyn Kelly (@megynkelly) August 5, 2025

The comparison struck a nerve, not only because of Beyoncé’s cultural impact, but because of the controversy surrounding Sweeney’s American Eagle campaign.

Launched in July 2025, the ad centered on her “great jeans/ great genes,” a pun that critics swiftly called out as a white supremacist dog whistle. With her blond hair and blue eyes on display, the campaign included the phrase “Sydney Sweeney has great jeans,” prompting many to examine what seemed to be eugenic language and historical ideas about racial purity.

EUGENICS. Or just good jeans?
It's pretty light fair as far as jean ads go. Or is it a gene ad?

— American Screed (@american_screed) July 28, 2025

Despite the initial backlash, the campaign found strong support among conservative circles.

President Donald Trump praised it as the “hottest ad out there” and applauded Sweeney’s reported Republican registration. The endorsement from the sitting president helped American Eagle’s stock jump nearly 30 percent, transforming a controversy into a conservative rallying cry.

The president has posted on his Truth Social to praise Sydney Sweeney & slam woke culture…and Taylor Swift.

"Sydney Sweeney, a registered Republican, has the HOTTEST ad out there," Trump writes. "Go get ‘em Sydney!"

— Elizabeth Wagmeister (@EWagmeister) August 4, 2025

Kelly’s latest dig at Beyoncé adds fuel to an already heated history. In 2024, she made headlines when she criticized Beyoncé for “playing victim” after the singer featured clips of Kelly’s past criticisms in her Cowboy Carter tour visuals. Kelly dismissed Beyoncé’s presence in country music entirely, calling her “another one of the most privileged, beloved women in the world.”

Meanwhile, Beyoncé continues to break records. Her album “Act II: Cowboy Carter” became the first by a Black woman to top the Billboard Country Albums chart. It also reached number one on the all-genres Billboard 200, marking her eighth consecutive album to do so, while smashing streaming records on Spotify and Amazon Music.

Social media quickly pushed back on Kelly’s critique, pointing out she misses the bigger picture that Beyoncé’s success comes from real talent and hard work, not just a polished image. Comparing her to Sydney Sweeney as “fake” versus “natural” ignores that both use professional styling.

One user wrote, “This is the most childish thing I have ever seen..so if the white girl gets an ad the blk girl has to have one too.. tat for tat.”

Another clapped back at Kelly’s timeline, tweeting, “This advertising campaign came out before Sydney Sweeney’s ad, you turnip.”

A third user added, “Your decades-long obsession with Beyoncé is very pathetic.”

While another user pointed out her enduring legacy. “This is pure hater energy. Beyonce has been successful for over 30 years and she proves time and time again why she has remained a cultural icon for that entire period.”

Some fans even dropped in before-and-after pics highlighting Kelly’s own transformation.

One fan who posted the photos said, ‘Trying hard you say?’

Another user chimed in with an even older photo, writing, ‘The first one ain’t even her starting face lmao.’

But not all comments bashed the political talking head, also critiquing the “Run the World” singer.

One person wrote, “I have to ask – why is it ok for Beyonce who presents herself as a ‘proud black woman’ to dye her hair platinum blonde???”

Another said, “So let me get this straight people are having a fit about Sydney. I see posts all the time saying white girls cannot braid their hair because it’s a black thing. Yet Beyoncé can try to look like a white girl and that’s OK.”

These criticisms reflect broader tensions about Beyoncé’s image, calling it “cultural appropriation” or much worse, “whiteface.” From her Pamela Anderson-inspired Halloween look to her Team USA Olympics tribute, she has faced accusations of purposely adopting Eurocentric features.

I remember when Beyonce was black. The fact she wants to dress up as a white Canadian shows us just how much SHE only comes out for a black vote is when it puts her center stage. How do you people respect a hypocrite? She wants to be white. https://t.co/U5nXTj7McA

— TheXFactor (@DeborahTaylor01) November 5, 2024

Meanwhile, Beyoncé’s Levi’s campaign appears to be paying off.

Industry analysts credit the ad with boosting Levi’s global reach and sales, especially among younger, multicultural consumers, the New York Post reports.

This celebrity-driven spike was seen far before the summer campaign. In the spring, Levi’s reported that the singer’s endorsement led to a 9 percent increase in the brand’s global organic growth, according to Ad Week.

Kelly, for her part, continues using her platform to criticize almost any cultural shift she disagrees with, remaining a polarizing voice in conservative media.

Ultimately, these dueling denim campaigns reveal far more than just fashion trends. They’ve become cultural lightning rods, exposing America’s raw nerves around beauty standards, racial dynamics, authenticity, and the age-old question of whose image gets to represent the “real” America.

Beyoncé and Sweeney may be selling denim, but the conversations surrounding them — conversations neither woman is steering — are stitched with far more than cotton. They’re woven with America’s unresolved tensions around race and womanhood.

‘That Ain’t Him’: Michigan Cops Pulled a Gun, Handcuffed a 12-Year-Old Black Boy Taking Out the Trash — Then Realized the Real Suspect Was a Grown Man. Now They’re Being Sued

Michael Bernard was washing dishes inside his Michigan home when he asked his 12-year-son to take out the garbage two years ago.

But when Tashawn Bernard did not return after several minutes, the father became worried and stepped outside to look for his son, finding him in handcuffs surrounded by several Lansing police officers, accusing the boy of matching the description of another Black male suspected of stealing cars.

“You always use that as an excuse,” the agitated father was heard saying in direct confrontation with the officer insisting the teen “fit the description.”

However, the other Black male was an adult who happened to be wearing neon shorts like Tashawn Bernard but with a white T-shirt, according to a lawsuit filed last month in federal court, seeking damages for the trauma inflicted upon the boy. The boy was wearing a bluish-gray shirt.

“When it happened, I was really, like, shocked and frightened about like the situation, and how it happened,” Tashawn Bernard said in an interview that aired on “Good Morning America” less than a week after the incident.

According to the lawsuit obtained by Atlanta Black Star:

Tashawn has increasing difficulty interacting with police authority figures and is frightened by them when they are in his vicinity.

As a result of the incident, Tashawn has experienced panic/anxiety attacks, difficulty sleeping and required counseling to address residual symptoms from the trauma caused by Defendants.

The lawsuit filed by the Michigan-based law firm Grewal Law PLLC accuses the two officers who detained him of unreasonable search and seizure, false arrest, negligence, assault and battery and excessive force.

Also listed as defendants are the city of Lansing and its former police chief, Ellery Sosebee, accusing them of inadequate training, especially when it comes to Black kids. And especially because the suspect they were looking for was a grown man.

“It was determined that LPD was looking for a black adult male in a white t-shirt and lime green shorts,” the lawsuit states.

Lansing police have made no mention whether they ever arrested the real suspect they had been looking for that day.

Watch the video below.

‘It Ain’t Him’

The incident took place on Aug. 10, 2023, after police confronted the real suspect they had been looking for but he ran away from them, prompting a chase with several cops in several patrol cars.

Police blurred the man’s face in the body camera videos but we can see he was wearing similar colored shorts that Tashawn Bernard was wearing but also a white t-shirt.

About 20 minutes later, Lansing police officer Damon Culver came across Tashawn Bernard who had just placed a garbage bag into a dumpster in the parking lot of the apartment complex where he lived with his family.

Culver pulled out his gun and ordered him to place his hands behind his back and handcuffed him. Then Lansing police officer Stacey Myers arrived and placed the handcuffed boy in the back of a patrol car. These are the cops listed as defendants in the lawsuit.

“What did I do?” the boy asked while crying as he was being led in handcuffs to the back of the patrol car.

However, the lawsuit states the body camera video released by the Lansing Police Department includes portions where the audio has been removed, so we unable to hear the entire conversation of the initial detainment.

Defendant Pulver spoke to Tashawn, but the Officer’s body cam video released to Tashawn’s family is missing vital minutes that would contain Defendant Pulver’s confrontation and conversation with Tashawn.

Defendant Pulver’s gun was unholstered at the time he gave those commands to Tashawn.

Defendant Pulver then put handcuffs on Tashawn’s wrists, behind his back, and began walking Tashawn back to his police vehicle for questioning.

Meanwhile, the boys’s father, Michael Bernard, was infuriated, knowing his child had not committed a crime, demanding to know why they had handcuffed his son.

A few minutes later, another cop informs Meyer they have detained the wrong Black person, which is when Meyer has him step out of the patrol car.

“It ain’t him” the cop tells Meyer. “Same colored shorts.”

But considering they had just been speaking to the real suspect less than 30 minutes earlier, they should have known there was a significant age difference.

Defendant Pulver knew that Tashawn did not match the description of the suspect the LPD was searching for related to the stolen cars when he put him in handcuffs and walked back for interrogation.

Pulver’s body cam video released did not contain the minutes when he confronted and questioned Tashawn and/or explained why he was being handcuffed.

Once the handcuffs were removed, Myers tried to explain why he had been detained.

“Remember how I told you you have somebody matching the same description?” she asked.

“Unfortunately, you were at the wrong place at the wrong time.”

Departmental Policy Violation

The lawsuit points out that handcuffing the boy was a clear violation of departmental policy in how to detain children younger than 13 years of age which states the following:

The handcuffing of youths under the age of thirteen (13) requires approval from LPD 61 command unless (1) there are exceptional and exigent circumstances directly related to an 62 officer’s or youth’s safety, (2) if there is a court order or (3) there are other circumstances 63 to be considered, based upon clearance of a supervisor.

The lawsuit also points out a study that determined of all the juveniles arrested by the Lansing Police Department in 2020, 83 percent were Black even though they only make up 28 percent of the population.

The incident was recorded by a witness who posted it on TikTok where it went viral, becoming national news, prompting an apology from the police chief, according to the Lansing State Journal.

“As the Chief of Police, I want to apologize that this incident had such an effect on this young man and his family,” said former chief Sosebee.

Lansing Mayor Andy Schor also issued a statement with an apology.

“The Lansing Police Department made a mistake in detaining the wrong person during a vehicle theft investigation,” he said.

“The young man was wearing the exact same clothing as the suspect, however it was quickly confirmed he was not the suspect in question and he was released. I join Chief Sosebee in offering my apologies to the young man and to his family.”

But the boy’s father told CNN he would not accept the apology.

“I will never accept an apology,” Michael Bernard said.

“My son did not deserve to be treated the way they treat(ed) him. No way, no shape or form. Justice for my son. That’s all I want. Nothing else.”

‘Indefensible’: Trump Wants to Restore a Statue ‘Honoring a Racist and a Traitor,’ But He’ll Have to Get Past This Black Congresswoman First

News - Wed, 08/06/2025 - 15:16

In June of 2020, at the height of Black Lives Matter protests nationwide, demonstrators toppled and burned a statue of Confederate Gen. Albert Pike near the District of Columbia police headquarters.

The demonstrators wrapped two ropes around the statue to pull it down, then doused it with lighter fluid and set it on fire on live TV, where it burned for several minutes amidst raucous cheering before police put out the fire.

President Donald Trump immediately critiqued the carnage.

“The D.C. Police are not doing their job as they watch a statue be ripped down & burn,” he tweeted, tagging the city’s mayor, Muriel Bowser, a Democrat with whom he’d frequently clashed, reported nbcwashington.com. “These people should be immediately arrested. A disgrace to our Country!”

Five years later, the Trump Administration has ordered that the 30-foot-tall bronze and marble statue be restored and reinstalled on federal land near Judiciary Square, according to a National Park Service announcement on Monday.

D.C. Rep. Eleanor Holmes Norton, the 88-year-old veteran Democrat who introduced bills to remove the Pike statue prior to its public razing, is not having it, calling the decision to reinstall the statue “as odd and indefensible and it is morally objectionable.”

— Perry Stein (@PerryStein) June 20, 2020

In a statement issued on Tuesday, she said she plans to reintroduce her bill to remove the Pike statue and to authorize the Secretary of the Interior to donate it to a museum.

“A statue honoring a racist and a traitor has no place on the streets of D.C.,” she said.

“I’ve long believed Confederate statues should be placed in museums as historical artifacts, not remain in parks and locations that imply honor,” Norton said, adding that “Pike served dishonorably. He took up arms against the United States, misappropriated funds, and was ultimately captured and imprisoned by his own troops. He resigned in disgrace after committing a war crime and dishonoring even his own Confederate military service. Even those who want Confederate statues to remain standing would have to justify awarding Pike any honor, considering his history.”

NPS' decision to restore and reinstall the statue of Confederate Albert Pike is indefensible. Pike served dishonorably, misappropriated funds, and was ultimately imprisoned by his fellow troops.

I'll reintroduce my bill to remove the statue.

— Eleanor #DCStatehood Holmes Norton (@EleanorNorton) August 4, 2025

When she introduced her bill in 2019, Norton said that the statue was authorized by Congress in 1898 and paid for using both federal and private funds, the majority donated by the Freemasons, of which Pike was a member.

“Pike was a Confederate general who was forced to resign … after it was found that soldiers under his command mutilated the bodies of Union soldiers,” she said, and was ultimately imprisoned after his fellow officers reported that he misappropriated funds. “Adding to the dishonor of taking up arms against the United States, Pike dishonored even his Confederate military service. He certainly has no claim to be memorialized in the nation’s capital.”

Norton said she opposed tearing down Confederate statues, “because I believe they should be moved to more appropriate settings, like museums, to avoid erasing an important part of history from which Americans must continue to learn.”

Norton said she had met with leaders of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, who supported relocating it to another site, “given its divisive nature.” The D.C. Mayor and Council also supported the removal of the statue, she said, noting that her bill would not rely on federal funds to do so.

The rub at the time was that no group wanted to give the controversial statue a new home, including the Freemasons, reported The Washington Post.

Ronald Seale, the leader of the D.C.-based Scottish Rite, acknowledged that the Pike statue had become “the subject of contention and escalating controversy” and that his group would agree to its removal.

The Freemasons “will support an action by the District of Columbia to remove the statue forthwith so that it shall not serve as a source of contention or strife for the residents of our community,” he wrote in August to D.C. Council member Jack Evans (D-Ward 2).

Now the Trump administration aims to have the statue fully restored and back in place by October. Historic preservation crews have already begun site preparation to repair the statue’s broken stone, mortar joints and mounting elements, the Park Service said.

The restoration “aligns with federal responsibilities under historic preservation law as well as recent executive orders to beautify the nation’s capital and re-instate pre-existing statues,” the NPS said, noting that the statue “honors Pike’s leadership in Freemasonry, including his 32 years as Sovereign Grand Commander of the Ancient Rite of Scottish Freemasonry.”

Trump’s order last March on “restoring truth and sanity to American history” said the secretary of the interior would determine whether statutes have been removed since 2020 “to perpetuate a false reconstruction of American history, inappropriately minimize the value of certain historical events or figures, or include any other improper partisan ideology.”

Interior Secretary Doug Burgum is directed to look at all “monuments, memorials, statues and markers” that were removed or changed since Jan. 1, 2020. Most of the public monuments in question honored Confederate leaders and were seen as offensive celebrations of the nation’s racist past, reported the L.A. Times. They were taken down after the racial justice protests following the murder of George Floyd by a Minnesota police officer.

‘Yes. He Told on Himself’: Coldplay Kiss Cam Scandal Triggers Relationship Drama After Husband’s Suspicious Reaction Sets Off His Wife

News - Wed, 08/06/2025 - 14:00

The viral Coldplay kiss cam incident that exposed a workplace affair between two married executives has rippled far beyond the corporate boardroom, sparking uncomfortable conversations in marriages across the country.

The incident, initially an embarrassing public spectacle for Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and the data management company’s “Chief People Officer” Kristin Cabot, has now become a poignant trigger for nationwide discussions on marital fidelity. One woman’s story shows how scandals like this can bring up old fears and emotional pain that people thought they had moved past.

When news broke about the cheating scandal that unfolded at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, marriages everywhere became testing grounds for loyalty and empathy.

For one 40-year-old woman, her husband’s reaction to the scandal felt like a betrayal all over again, dredging up painful memories from their own relationship’s troubled past.

The woman turned to Reddit to share her dilemma, revealing how her husband’s response had reopened wounds she thought had healed.

A woman considers divorcing her husband after his sympathetic reaction to the viral Coldplay cheating scandal reopened wounds from his past infidelity in their own marriage. (Reddit)

“The day the Coldplay affair exploded all over the internet, my husband’s immediate response was to sympathize with the couple who were caught cheating,” she wrote in her post, later adding, “He said that maybe they were both unhappy in their respective marriages and felt compelled to find solace in one another.”

The context she provided painted a picture of a relationship built on shaky ground.

Together for 12 years and married for six, the couple’s journey to the altar had been anything but conventional. Both had emerged from failed first marriages with little interest in remarrying until an act of infidelity changed everything. Her husband had cheated on her before their wedding, and in what she described as “damage control,” he proposed marriage.

Despite her instincts screaming against it, she accepted, admitting her decision was driven by “cripplingly low self esteem.”

Since then, their marriage had seemingly found its footing. She acknowledged having no real complaints about their relationship and no reason to suspect ongoing infidelity. Her husband had proven himself a good partner over the years. Yet his sympathetic stance toward the Coldplay cheaters struck a nerve that surprised even her.

The situation escalated when, a week later, news emerged that both Byron and Cabot had resigned from their positions at the artificial intelligence startup.

Once again, her husband expressed pity for the exposed couple. When she pressed him about his lack of sympathy for the betrayed spouses, he clarified that he felt sorry for everyone involved.

But the damage was done.

“I can’t help but feel like he inadvertently told on himself,” she confided.

The Reddit community’s response was characteristically divided and passionate.

“He showed you that hes still a cheater and that when he becomes unhappy- he will cheat again. I would absolutely end things for good over this,” one user declared.

Another focused on the language her husband used, writing, “It’s the ‘compelled’ part for me. Yes he told on himself.”

The harsh judgment continued with another commenter stating, “When someone tells you who they are, believe them. OP’s husband is trash, and she can do better.”

However, not everyone advocated for immediate divorce.

“Wow! No wonder divorce rates are so high. What he said was a red flag, jumping immediately to divorce is also a red flag… chill guys,” one more measured voice responded.

A more moderate perspective emerged from another user who suggested, “I definitely wouldn’t divorce over this, but I think I’d want to discuss this comment.”

The original scandal that sparked these domestic reckonings began on July 16 during Coldplay’s performance when frontman Chris Martin spotted what he assumed was a loving couple in the audience.

Byron and Cabot were captured on the Jumbotron, embracing and swaying to the music, before their panic at being broadcast became internet legend. Cabot covered her face while Byron ducked from view, prompting Martin’s prescient observation: “Either they’re having an affair or they’re very shy.”

The revelation that both were married to other people transformed a moment of embarrassment into a corporate crisis. Byron, married to Megan Kerrigan Byron, with whom he shares two children, resigned just three days after the incident. Cabot, married to Andrew Cabot of the prestigious Boston Brahmin family, followed suit a week later by resigning her from her position as head of the company’s human resources department.

For the Reddit poster, the scandal became an unexpected mirror, reflecting unresolved insecurities about her own relationship.

The incident serves as a stark reminder that public scandals often illuminate private fears, forcing couples to confront uncomfortable truths about trust, forgiveness, and the lingering shadows of past betrayals.

‘He’s Nobody’: Black Mom Confronts White Man Who Made Her Daughter Cry with Vile Insults; What He Does Next Leaves Bystanders Speechless

News - Wed, 08/06/2025 - 13:07

A video that shows a man screaming hateful things at a Black family in a drive-thru has gone viral.

The video, posted on TikTok by the child’s grandfather, who goes by CarlosAO503, has garnered more than 2 million views so far, along with several follow-up videos, including one from the child’s perspective inside the car.

A California man was caught on video hurling insults at a child. (Photos: X/Carlosao503)

“She doesn’t even love you guys. She wishes you weren’t around anymore. You were both accidents. You ruined her life. Mommy cheats on Daddy,” the unhinged man can be heard yelling, while the child screamed, “shut up!” She could also be heard crying while the mother tries to comfort her.

Internet sleuths later claimed to have identified the man through his license plate number, which the mother had caught on video.

His blue Jeep was right behind the mother’s SUV in the drive-thru at Starbucks on Mission Trail in Lake Elsinore, in Riverside County, California. When she got out of her vehicle to record the man’s face, the situation turned dangerous. The man began revving his engine before rolling over the curb of the drive-thru lane, coming close to the mother as she filmed.

“Are you going to hit me with your car?” she screamed.

He can be seen in the video talking on the phone, presumably to the police, while still in the drive-thru lane.

“She’s Black with her kids hanging out of the car,” he remarked. He then painted himself as the victim, telling police that “she’s holding me hostage.”

The woman indicated she didn’t feel safe walking back to her car to drive away and release his Jeep from the line. “I’m scared he’s going to hit me,” she said.

The child’s grandfather, who posted the videos, stated in the comments section that his daughter later tried to file a police report, even showing the authorities the videos, but was allegedly told the man hadn’t broken any laws because she had not been standing in the path of his Jeep when he rolled over the curb.

Several TikTok users tracked down what they purported to be the man’s outdated LinkedIn profile, in which he described himself as the co-owner of a Temecula business.

So many bad reviews flooded Yelp after the video exploded that Yelp temporarily disabled comments and posted a “Public Attention Alert” on the listing, saying they were working to “investigate the content.”

It read: “racism has no place on Yelp and we unequivocally reject racism or discrimination.”

The store, however, apparently closed down three years ago; the phone is disconnected, and the website redirects visitors to a popular comic aggregator site.

It’s not clear what led to the altercation, and not everyone agrees with the mother’s actions. Some commenters criticized her for stepping out of her car.

“Why did you even do that? Now you’re saying you need to get back to your kids. Make that make sense,” wrote one. Others believed she should have spared her child from the man’s meltdown. “Roll the window up and turn up the tunes. Don’t give him the satisfaction of any attention, sis,” advised one. “Your poor baby. Ugh, my mama heart,” wrote another.

“Please bring me to the happy ending where we find who this man is,” read a comment.

‘Canceled’: ‘Taken’ Star Liam Neeson’s Disturbing Confession About Roaming the Streets Looking to Kill a Black Man Resurfaces, His Motive Has Fans Horrified

News - Wed, 08/06/2025 - 11:30

Liam Neeson is making headlines for his rumored romance with Pamela Anderson, but some detractors will not let the “Taken” actor’s controversial past be forgotten.

While Neeson, 73, and Anderson, 58, have been playing coy about their connection in public, sources confirmed to People that “The Naked Gun” co-stars are dating.

“It’s a budding romance in the early stages. It’s sincere, and it’s clear they’re smitten with each other,” an unnamed insider told the celebrity news outlet.

Neeson and Anderson stopped by the “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” late-night talk show on August 3 to promote their new action-comedy motion picture.

FILE – In this Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2016 file photo, actor Liam Neeson poses for photographers upon his arrival at the premiere of the film ‘Hunt For The Wilderpeople’ in London. Liam Neeson says he had violent thoughts some time ago about killing a black person after learning that someone close to him had been raped. The Northern Ireland-born actor says that after being told the attacker was black he “went up and down areas with a” stick or truncheon hoping a black person “would come out of a pub and have a go at me about something, you know? So that I could kill him.” (Photo by Vianney Le Caer/Invision/AP, file)

At one point, Cohen mentioned the gossip surrounding the two stars. The longtime executive producer of “The Real Housewives” reality show franchise shared his approval of the relationship.

“The question I’m not asking the two of you tonight is what’s going on between the two of you,” Cohen told the assumed couple as they both smiled at each other.

He then directly addressed Nesson by saying, “But I do just want to say, as a very old friend of yours, all of your friends are very much stanning this relationship as the kids say.”

After turning to Liam’s son, Daniel Neeson, in the studio audience, Cohen asked “Right, Danny?” In response, Daniel said, “Yes.” Meanwhile, his dad held Anderson’s hand during the lighthearted exchange.

Even though Liam’s loved ones may back his new courtship with the former Playboy Playmate of the Month, some social media users are still focused on a scandal from February 2019.

At the time, Neeson became a trending topic for days when quotes from his interview with British newspaper “The Independent” went viral.

The then-66-year-old Northern Ireland native recounted someone close to him being raped nearly 40 years prior. His confessed reaction to that assault left many readers disturbed.

“I asked [my friend], did she know who it was? No. What color were they? She said it was a Black person,” the Academy Award nominee recalled.

According to Neeson, he spent a week looking for a random “black bastard” at local bars in order to “kill” an innocent man as a way to avenge the victim.

“It was horrible, horrible, when I think back, that I did that,” Neeson admitted. His fellow “Cold Pursuit” movie cast member, Tom Bateman, who was also present for the conversation, responded, “Holy s–t.”

Neeson claimed he did “learn a lesson” from having those prejudiced thoughts before stating that growing up in Northern Ireland made him understand the “primal need” for revenge.

Despite acknowledging his faults, many people continue to take issue with what the father of two had to say six years ago. The reports of Anderson being his new girlfriend ignited his critic’s wrath on X.

“Your reminder that Liam Neeson is a raging murderous racist lunatic…And no amount of Hollywood PR will erase the fact that he felt comfortable enough to openly admit to wanting to commit a hate crime against an innocent Black man,” one person tweeted.

A second outraged individual commented, “All day Every day! That b- is cancelled..”

“This is cute for Pamela, but I can’t get past Liam Neeson saying he wanted to ‘kill any Black man,’” an Anderson fan expressed when replying to a pop culture account’s post about the pair becoming an item.

However, Anderson also caught heat for being accused of culturally appropriating Native Americans for a Halloween costume in 2019. Someone on X sarcastically tweeted, “So happy for Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson. [Two] peas in a racist-ass pod.”

"I'm not a racist."

Neeson later appeared on “Good Morning America” in February 2019 to address the negative press over his remarks about wanting to harm a Black man in retaliation for his friend being violated.

“I’m not a racist,” Neeson said during the televised sitdown with “GMA” host Robin Roberts. Anderson also fired back at her naysayers who condemned her over the Native American-inspired outfit.

The “Love, Pamela” author doubled down on wearing a traditional headdress for Halloween by sharing a link to an article titled “The Illogic of Cultural Appropriation” written by law professor Mike Rappaport.

As both Neeson and Anderson currently face backlash over offensive moments from 2019, they remained focused on promoting “The Naked Gun” reboot. On July 28, their respective children posed with them on the red carpet for the film’s premiere in New York City.

Neeson is the father of 30-year-old Micheál Richardson and his 28-year-old brother, Daniel.  Micheál and Daniel are also the sons of deceased “Patty Hearst” actress Natasha Richardson.

Anderson shares two sons — Dylan Jagger Lee, 27, and Brandon Thomas Lee, 29 — with ex-husband Tommy Lee. The Mötley Crüe band member was married to Pamela from 1995 to 1998.

“With Pamela, first off, I’m madly in love with her. She’s just terrific to work with,” Neeson said in October 2024 about the blond bombshell. “I can’t compliment her enough, I’ll be honest with you. No huge ego.”

Anderson returned the favor by calling Liam “the perfect gentleman.” In addition, she praised his kindness on set, adding, “[Neeson] sincerely looked after me — wrapped his coat around me when I was cold.”

‘Dirty Old Pervert’: Trump’s ‘Creepy’ On-Stage Moment with ‘Hot Girl’ Resurfaces As Fallout Over Secret Files Heats Up; MAGA Drums Up Excuses for the ‘Troubling’ Behavior

News - Wed, 08/06/2025 - 10:00

Long before Donald Trump became president, the business magnate achieved stardom on the reality TV series “The Apprentice.” During this time, he commanded the highest speaking fees reportedly ever paid to dispense real estate advice at “wealth expos” around the country.

It was at one of these $1.5 million talks in 2007, funded by the now-defunct Learning Annex, that he went way off script and cuddled with a female audience member on stage. He then reminisced about a barely legal job applicant who was “so beautiful” he had to hire her as a waitress, likening his penchant for women to an alcohol addiction.

At the time, his remarks were met with laughter by the audience. But in light of the Epstein file controversy, along with his 2023 guilty verdict in the E. Jean Carroll sexual abuse case, the old video is being viewed with fresh eyes.

“Extra creepy with all the Epstein stuff now,” commented one viewer.  “The leopard has not changed his spots. He thinks the way he speaks about his uncontrollable urges gives him an aura of sensuality. Quite the opposite, a perv is a perv, is a perv,” one X user commented on a reshare of the video by Mediastouch.

In the video, titled “Donald Trump and Hot Girl in San Francisco,” a young woman from the audience asked Trump a provocative question: “How many jets do you have, and how would I apply to be a flight attendant?”

Seconds later, she walked across the stage in high heels and a body-hugging outfit to join Trump at the speaker’s podium, where he held her tight and said, “You’re hired.”

@MeidasTouch This clip is deeply troubling and raises serious questions about the appropriateness of Trump's comments and actions. The way he openly discusses hiring someone based on appearance rather than qualifications, and his comparison to an "alcoholic around Scotch," is…

— The Profit Pup (@TheProfitPup) August 4, 2025

Trump then launched into a story about a “beautiful girl who was 17 or 18 and wanted to be a waitress, so beautiful,” he said. With his arm still around the waist of the flirty expo attendee, Trump was temporarily lost in his memories, “So I interviewed her anyway, cause she was so pretty. And I said, ‘Let me ask you, do you have any experience?’ She goes, ‘No, sir.’ I said, ‘When can you start?’”

Kissing the woman next to him on the cheek, he told her she could “work on my plane anytime,” before sending her off the stage, and admitting to the audience — gathered to hear about real estate — that women were like an addiction to him.

“If she worked on my plane, that’s like a death wish for me,” he said, comparing her to a glass of scotch being set in front of a recovering alcoholic. “This would be my former alcoholism.”

Earlier that year, Trump had celebrated his second wedding anniversary with Melania and received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for “The Apprentice.”

To be sure, the video isn’t new information, but it has returned to the spotlight as the public calls for greater transparency in the Epstein sex trafficking controversy.

Trump’s name — along with the names of many other prominent people — appears in the heavily redacted phase one release of the Epstein files, specifically in Epstein’s address book, reported news outlets. (This “black book” had previously been released, including during the sex trafficking trial of Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell.)

Perhaps more news is on the way: On Aug. 5, the House Oversight Committee subpoenaed the Justice Department for all of the unredacted files and depositions from high-level former officials — a major development in the case.

Some supporters defended the president’s actions in the video, with some saying Trump was just being a man and admiring an attractive woman, and others pointed out that the young woman doesn’t look underage.

“Everyone knows Trump likes pretty women, I like pretty women. He’s just like me,” wrote one X user. “That’s what men do. Men whorship young and beautiful women, throughout history this has always been true, this is the masculine instinct, it’s normal, especially for a man in a position of wealth and power. Now most do it in private, he did it in public. Now the question is, did he illigally abuse them or not? I would guess not,” another wrote.

Georgia Man Who Threatened Black People Online, Claimed to Be ‘Official Spokesperson for the White Race,’ Appears Rattled as FBI Raids Home; Defiant Friend Says He Did Nothing Wrong

News - Tue, 08/05/2025 - 21:00

A man from the Atlanta area faces federal charges after he allegedly took to social media and posted racist threats against Black and Jewish people.

Christopher Robertson, who goes by James Lomak, was charged with communicating interstate threats after he was arrested by FBI agents at his home on Aug. 1 following a lengthy standoff.

Authorities found a series of racially threatening posts on several Facebook accounts belonging to Robertson.

A Facebook post from July 28 showed Robertson holding a black pistol loaded with a magazine while speaking about the “cultural genocide” of the white race. The video’s caption read, “I will not tolerate cultural genocide, get that understood — I will fight for it, I will die for it, I will kill for it.”

In a video he posted on Aug. 1, he threatened to murder Black people who “lash out openly at the white man,” stating, “We will kill the s*** out of you guys … We will f***ing murder you.”

Federal agents were first notified about Robertson’s activities after being contacted by the Secure Community Network, a national organization focused on protecting Jewish communities.

This was after Robertson paid a visit to the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta on July 30 and told security staff that he was “the official spokesperson for the white race” and wanted to speak to a high-ranking Jewish official.

After he left, he went to a Jewish synagogue in midtown Atlanta and began ranting about the decline of the white race while making derogatory remarks about Jewish people.

He also went to a Jewish Chabad building, which serves as a community center for educational, social, and religious activities, where he said he wanted to “chop it up with a rabbi.” He recorded his encounter with several staff members while calling himself the “official delegate of the white race,” and posted the video to Facebook. He also told the Chabad rabbi that Jewish people were on the “verge of extermination.”

The rabbi called 911 while staffers barricaded themselves in an office.

One of Robertson’s YouTube posts also shows him singing, “F*** the Jews, f*** you if you Jewish, one shot, two shot, leave you in the sewage.”

On the day of his arrest, Robertson barricaded himself inside his home for hours when FBI agents arrived to take him into custody. Eventually, he surrendered.

One of Robertson’s friends defended Robertson on Facebook, stating that Robertson was only exercising his right to free speech.

“These are not charges that are gonna stick. This is not right. He has been voicing his opinion on social media and his freedom of speech. He never threatened,” the Facebook post read.

“The allegations against Robertson, which include menacing visits to Jewish facilities and vile online threats against Jews and Blacks, are of great concern,” said United States Attorney Theodore S. Hertzberg. “Protecting the community from hate-fueled violence is a foundational part of the Department of Justice’s mission, and we will aggressively prosecute criminals who abuse the internet to terrorize and intimidate others.”

‘That’s Pretty Scary’: Texas White Supremacist Busted for Plotting Deadly Racist Attack Using Stockpile of Weapons Enough to Wipe Out a Neighborhood

News - Tue, 08/05/2025 - 19:30

A Texas man with white supremacist and Nazi ideologies was arrested on felony charges for allegedly plotting a massive, racist attack involving explosives against Black and Jewish people.

Authorities with the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office say 39-year-old Nathan James Henderson was taken into custody on July 12 after they received a “credible tip” about threats of mass violence and possession of illegal explosive components.

He was initially charged with one count of “components of explosives” after authorities executed a search warrant at his home and found materials and chemicals to make bombs.

Investigators also discovered multiple firearms and ammunition, notebooks containing extremist ideology and vague plans to disrupt public venues, 24 grenades with corresponding striker mechanisms, a homemade igniter with remote detonation capability, and nearly 100 metal cylinders believed to be intended for manufacturing blasting caps.

The grenades were inert and deactivated, but a follow-up analysis found they were in “various stages of construction,” leading authorities to believe Henderson was working to turn them into explosive devices.

According to an affidavit cited by local news affiliate KSAT, Henderson’s cousin paid him a visit on July 4.

During that visit, Henderson began making “alarming and extremist” threats to kill Jewish and Black people, along with unnamed government officials, using weapons and homemade explosive devices.

He described himself as a white supremacist and a Nazi, and expressed admiration for New York murder suspect Luigi Mangione, whom he wanted to emulate, the affidavit stated.

He also told his cousin that he would rather commit suicide than be taken into custody after the attack.

During the raid on Henderson’s home, investigators also found letters to other known White supremacists who had been arrested for hate and race-related crimes.

One neighbor who described the community as a multi-racial neighborhood said he drove up just as the raid was happening and saw the bomb squad removing explosive materials from the home.

“We drove up in the middle of it, and we just drove in,” neighbor Mario Ramirez said. “It would’ve blown up the whole neighborhood,” he added about the explosives.

Henderson now faces additional charges, including components of explosives, prohibited weapons, hoax bombs, and terrorism.

He’s the first person in Bexar County to face a terrorism charge under Texas’s newly enacted state law, which classifies the offense as a first-degree felony that carries a penalty of five to 99 years or life in prison.

‘Should Have Stayed with Her Belief in TRUMP’: Donald Trump Says Gayle King’s ‘Career Is Over’ as Fans Point to One Eerie Contract Detail She Shares with Stephen Colbert

News - Tue, 08/05/2025 - 18:48

Donald Trump wants Gayle King off the air at CBS. The president, 79, unleashed a scathing message about the “CBS Mornings” co-host, 70, amid reports that the network may be mulling over a decision to part ways with her.

“Gayle King’s career is over. She should have stayed with her belief in TRUMP. She never had the courage to do so. No talent, no ratings, no strength!!!” he wrote in an Aug. 4 Truth Social post.

His fiery declaration was accompanied by a New York Post article purporting that King and producer Shawna Thomas’ “agenda” has led the program into a ratings tailspin since 2024. Oprah Winfrey’s longtime best friend joined the show in 2012. Last year, she extended her lucrative contract into the spring of 2026 for a rumored $13 million to $15 million.

On X, a reaction to the call for her termination was met with a reaction that read, “Is that all he does is think of people he can hate and post about it? What a baby.” A second user commented, “I don’t have a CLUE what’s this all about., but I’m SURE (his) feelings got hurt!! Good Job @GayleKing.”

A third individual wrote, “Does trump really want to start beefing with black women?” Trump’s public rant about the veteran journalist came weeks after she and co-hosts Nate Burleson, Tony Dokoupil, and Vlad Duthiers expressed disappointment in CBS’ announcement that “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” will be canceled in May 2026, around the same time that King’s contract is set to expire.

The network personalities agreed the right-wing late-night comedy had been taking a hit in recent years. “When you get the news, though, it does feel like a little bit of a kick in the stomach. It’s very difficult to hear that this morning,” said King.

The embattled U.S. leader rejoiced in the news. “I absolutely love that Colbert got fired,” he posted on Truth Social. He scoffed that Colbert’s “talent was even less than his ratings.”

King, however, is not the only host on Trump’s “you’re fired” list. He has also called for Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel to be yanked from their primetime gigs. Both men have taken digs at the Republican and showed support for their fellow late-night TV star.

‘You Did Not Raise Her to Respect Authority’: Arizona Cop Threatens Black Father While Blocking His Door—Then His 5-Year-Old Daughter Hits the Officer On Camera

News - Tue, 08/05/2025 - 18:00

A video that surfaced on YouTube shows an Arizona cop with his foot planted in the front door of a Black man’s apartment, threatening to arrest him over allegations made by his neighbor.

The video also indicates the Black man’s 5-year-old daughter crying and panicking off camera, believing her father was about to be arrested by the Flagstaff police officer.

“You’re already scaring her,” the concerned father tells the officer.

At one point, the little girl slaps the cop in the groin area, saying “he’s a bad person.”

An Arizona cop planted his foot in the door of a Black man’s apartment, telling him he was detaining him for suspicion of disorderly conduct, sparking a debate as to whether cops are legally allowed to do that without a warrant. (Photo: body camera)

“If she touches me again like that — ’cause that actually hurt, she caught me in the nuts —we’ll have problems,” the cop said, threatening to arrest the father for his daughter’s actions and accusing him of being a bad father.

“You did not raise your child to respect authority, did you?”

But the Black man, who can be heard telling his daughter not to do that, subsequently told the cop she will be disciplined by not being allowed to watch TV in what he described as a “timeout.”

The young girl continues to scream during the incident, pleading with the officer who has handcuffs in his hands to “Please, let go of my daddy!”

The video was posted to the police accountability YouTube channel BP Cast on Saturday without mention of the date it occurred but Flagstaff police told Atlanta Black Star the incident took place in July 2022, resulting in no arrests.

But even though the video is dated, it has raised the question as to whether police have the right to plant their foot in the doorway to prevent somebody from closing it, a routine practice we’ve seen cops do on dozens of videos over the years.

The Black man said he had no right to do that, but the cop insisted he did have the right, claiming officer safety.

“When an officer is investigating a crime, they have the right to hold the door open,” the cop said and he even read the man his Miranda warning.

So who is right?

According to Mike Mandel, an attorney who runs the YouTube channel LawByMike, cops do have the right to plant their foot in the door but they are not allowed to enter your home without a warrant.

“Even if they don’t have a warrant, slamming the door on a cop’s foot could actually get you charged with assaulting an officer,” Mandel warned.

“Instead of slamming your door, take a step back further into your home.”

“They may still come in but now they have to decide between justifying entering your home without a warrant or just leaving.”

Mandel said the best thing to do is not open the door in the first place if the cops do not have a warrant.

“The number one way to avoid the foot in the door is to don’t open the door in the first place, always ask first, ‘got a warrant?’” the attorney said.

But the Black man did open the door which led to the cop planting his foot in the door, threatening to arrest him for disorderly conduct – allegations the Black man denied.

“I’m investigating disorderly conduct with disruptive behavior,” the cop told him.

“That you guys have been arguing verbally and that she had her window open and that you stood outside and stared at her through her window.”

“If I can’t talk to you about this, then I can cite you off of one side of a story.”

The 23-minute video shows the cop and the man debating the law but ultimately the cop decides not to arrest him.

At this point, the video has received 376 comments with most people saying the man should have never opened the door in the first place and many complimenting the little girl for hitting the cop.

“Kid is born with strong instincts. Immediately identified a predator,” commented @coryiverson9151.

“There were no exigent circumstances,” added another commenter named @tonytaylor5461.

“Nothing happened within his presence. There is zero validity to what he is doing. Also crossing the threshold minus exigent circumstances and warrant is a clear 4th amendment violation.”

Fortunately, the altercation did not result in anybody’s arrest but the video may serve as a lesson for citizens if they ever find themselves in that situation.

Flagstaff police told Atlanta Black Star to file a formal public records request to obtain more information but that could take days to fulfill.

‘Wasn’t This You?’: Texas Governor and AG Condemn Democrats for Fleeing State Then Social Media Drops Receipts of Their Own Dirty Escapes

News - Tue, 08/05/2025 - 16:28

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott says Democratic lawmakers who skipped town to thwart a controversial redistricting vote deserve to be hunted down and arrested. Attorney General Ken Paxton agrees — though not long ago, both men were accused of dodging accountability themselves.

The latest standoff erupted after more than 50 Texas House Democrats fled the state, aiming to block a gerrymandering effort that could net Republicans five more U.S. House seats ahead of the 2026 midterm elections. Their sudden absence denied the legislature a quorum, stalling votes on the controversial maps championed by President Donald Trump.

Gov. Abbott responded by ordering the Texas Department of Public Safety to track down and arrest the absconding lawmakers — even though state officers have no authority to detain anyone outside Texas.

“To ensure compliance, I ordered the Texas Department of Public Safety to locate, arrest, and return to the House chamber any member who has abandoned their duty to Texans,” Abbott said Monday. “By fleeing the state, Texas House Democrats are holding hostage critical legislation to aid flood victims and advance property tax relief. There are consequences for dereliction of duty.”

The governor also threatened lawmakers with a $500-per-day fine, warning they could be ousted from office for “abandonment.”

Abbott also suggested that raising public funds to pay those fines could violate bribery laws. He then floated the possibility of extraditing “potential out-of-state felons,” even though breaking quorum is not a crime.

Paxton, Abbott’s longtime ally, echoed the same inflammatory rhetoric on X.

“Democrats in the Texas House who try and run away like cowards should be found, arrested, and brought back to the Capitol immediately. We should use every tool at our disposal to hunt down those who think they are above the law.”

But Paxton’s remarks drew swift blowback, with social media critics digging up receipts that refused to let Paxton slide or suffer any memory loss.

One post in particular recalled a September 2022 incident when Paxton himself fled his home to avoid being served a subpoena in a case involving abortion rights. Paxton’s critic circulated a screenshot of the story with a biting caption, asking, “Wasn’t this you?”

In the comments section, conservatives ran to Paxton’s defense with claps like: “Never happened,” “Fake news,” and “Even if he did do it, it’s not illegal to avoid a process server.”

At the time, court records show, Paxton asked a judge to quash the subpoena and seal the service documents, with his attorneys claiming a process server had “accosted” him and his wife. U.S. District Judge Robert Pitman granted the requests.

That episode accompanies a laundry list of controversies swirling around the state’s top attorney — including a federal corruption investigation, past felony securities fraud charges, and a historic impeachment last year in which Paxton was acquitted by the Republican-led state Senate. His wife, Sen. Angela Paxton, did not vote.

In 2020, eight of Paxton’s closest aides blew the whistle, accusing him of bribery and abuse of office to benefit real estate investor Nate Paul — a campaign donor who later pleaded guilty to federal fraud charges. Paxton admitted to an extramarital affair with a woman Paul hired.

Paxton ultimately agreed to pay $300,000 in restitution to settle the securities fraud case and has not contested the whistleblowers’ claims in civil court. Still, the Department of Justice quietly closed its public corruption probe in the final weeks of the Biden administration, concluding it could not likely secure a conviction.

“After the November election, the DOJ accepted a guilty plea from Nate Paul and is apparently letting Ken Paxton escape justice,” said attorneys for two of the whistleblowers in a statement. “DOJ clearly let political cowardice impact its decision.”

Meanwhile, Abbott — no stranger to national political drama himself — has attempted to frame the redistricting standoff as a principled stand against obstruction.

But critics see it as a power grab and a direct response to Trump’s push for a stronger House majority. Under Texas’ current map, Republicans control 25 of 38 congressional seats. The GOP holds a narrow 219-212 majority in the U.S. House, with four vacancies.

The governor insisted the new maps would “create more Hispanic-majority districts” and “give Trump voters in Democrat-majority districts the ability to elect Republicans.” But Democrats say the effort amounts to “turbocharged racism” and “illegal voter suppression of Black and Latino Central Texans.”

Still, many people weren’t buying it, recalling Abbott’s past obfuscations and political schemes.

One social media post resurfaced Abbott’s attempt to shift blame onto President Joe Biden after Donald Trump was indicted in June 2023 for allegedly trying to overturn the 2020 election—despite the charges stemming from Trump’s own actions. Critics pointed to the irony of Abbott deflecting responsibility for what became the first federal criminal case against a former president.

On Monday, Paxton went on Fox News, saying he expected the Texas Supreme Court to ultimately weigh in on any abandonment cases he files. “And they’re obviously a Republican court,” he added.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom said Monday he was preparing a mid-cycle redistricting effort of his own to counteract the political maneuvering in Texas.

“These folks don’t play by the rules. If they can’t win playing the game with the existing set of rules, they’ll change the rules. That’s what Donald Trump has done,” Newsom said, vowing to fight fire with fire.

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul added:

“We are at war. That’s why the gloves are off and I say, bring it on.”

The standoff has national implications. Trump is backing Abbott’s hardline approach, with a White House official saying the former president wants “whatever is necessary” done to pass the map.

Meanwhile, Democratic lawmakers who skipped town remain unfazed.

“He’s trying to get sound bites, and he has no legal mechanism,” said Houston Rep. Jolanda Jones.

The Democrats are expected to hold briefings this week in Chicago and New York — just as the Texas legislature reconvenes today. They’ve threatened to stay out of state until the special session expires on August 20.

‘I Need to Get It’: Shannon Sharpe Fans Worried After He Shocks Ocho Cinco with Awkward Money Talk Amid Legal Woes

News - Tue, 08/05/2025 - 16:12

Shannon Sharpe’s recent “Nightcap” podcast episode took an unexpected turn when what should have been routine sports commentary became a revealing glimpse into the Hall of Famer’s current financial reality.

The conversation started innocently enough, with Sharpe and co-host Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson discussing Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and his contract standoff with star linebacker Micah Parsons.

Shannon Sharpe publicly demanded $5,900 from co-host Ochocinco on their podcast, saying his pockets are low, citing financial strain from recent legal troubles.(Photo by Prince Williams/FilmMagic)

But when Sharpe observed that Parsons’ representatives couldn’t get through to Jones because “Jerry ain’t returning no calls,” the discussion quickly shifted from professional sports business to personal finances.

Drawing a parallel that struck close to home, Sharpe turned to his co-host with pointed directness: “You owe me $5900. You basically told me I will pay you when I get ready.”

The moment transformed from casual sports talk into an uncomfortable but telling exchange about money between friends.

Ochocinco seemed genuinely shocked by the comparison, protesting vigorously against being likened to the notoriously tough-negotiating NFL owner.

“I’m not Jerry, I don’t I don’t like that comparison,” he insisted. “Don’t do me like that. … I got you.”

But Sharpe wasn’t backing down, responding with evident frustration about his current financial situation. “See, you got it but I need to get it,” he said. “You know, my pockets light right now. My pockets light.”

The exchange resonated with viewers when Viral Post Daily shared the clip, generating significant social media commentary.

“Gotta be able to laugh at your own pain,” one person observed, recognizing Sharpe’s attempt to find humor in his circumstances.

Another viewer was more direct, writing, “He need that money now!”

The reactions revealed how public Sharpe’s financial struggles have become, with some offering skepticism about his situation.

“All cap. he lost 25 million but he still worth like 60 million and Thats just a rich man child support,” one user commented, while another showed more support: “They definitely lighter lets this setback be a major comeback.”

Behind Sharpe’s lighthearted but pointed request lies a series of significant professional and legal setbacks that have dramatically altered his financial landscape.

The 57-year-old former Denver Broncos legend was once on the verge of securing a massive $100 million media deal, riding high on his success as Stephen A. Smith’s debate partner on ESPN’s “First Take” and the popularity of his podcasts.

However, Sharpe’s trajectory took a devastating turn earlier this year when he faced a civil lawsuit filed by a woman identified as Jane Doe in Nevada state court.

The plaintiff, later identified as Gabrielle Zuniga, alleged multiple offenses including violence and battery, seeking $50 million in damages. Sharpe categorically denied all allegations through his attorney Lanny Davis, who called the claims “an egregious attempt at blackmail.”

The legal battle concluded in July when Sharpe reached a private settlement with Zuniga, and the case was dismissed with prejudice. While the settlement terms remain confidential, reports suggest Sharpe paid approximately $23 million to resolve the matter.

The fallout from the lawsuit proved costly beyond the settlement amount. ESPN terminated Sharpe’s contract, ending his $6.5 million annual salary and effectively derailing his rising media career. His departure from “First Take,” where he had established himself as a compelling television personality, marked the end of what appeared to be a lucrative trajectory in sports media.

Adding to his legal troubles, Sharpe faces another lawsuit alongside Ochocinco from Usher fan Jimalita Tillman, who is seeking $20 million in damages. Tillman alleges the podcasting duo made false statements about her personal life, claiming they suggested the actually unmarried plaintiff’s husband wanted a divorce due to a flirty encounter with the R&B superstar.

The cascade of legal and professional setbacks has significantly impacted Sharpe’s financial position. His estimated net worth remains around $30 million, but the loss of his ESPN income and potential media contracts represents a substantial reduction from what could have been significantly higher earnings.

His podcasts “Club Shay Shay” and “Nightcap” are part of Colin Cowherd’s “The Volume” network, but that relationship is set to end in August, adding another layer of uncertainty to his future revenue streams.

Despite these challenges, Sharpe’s decision to speak openly about his finances during a recent podcast exchange suggests he’s committed to transparency as he navigates this difficult period. Whether this moment marks a temporary setback or a longer-term challenge remains to be seen, but for now he appears focused on managing his resources carefully — and collecting outstanding debts from friends.

‘Am I Trippin’: Kris Jenner Unveils a Luxe New Photo, Only for Eagle-Eyed Fans to Spot What Appears to Be Toe Number Six and Demand Answers

News - Tue, 08/05/2025 - 14:00

Most people who are fans or simply know of the Kardashian-Jenner family already assume that much of the family edits and adds filters to most of their photos. Their assumptions were proved correct when Khloé Kardashian recently admitted to using photo enhancers. But the latest person who got caught tweaking her pics was Kris Jenner.

The matriarch shared a five-photo Instagram post flexing her elegant Oscar de la Renta outfit, which she wore to her mother’s birthday celebration. The butterfly-patterned gown, titled Butterfly Faille Bustier Tea-Length Dress, is a white, black, and yellow-colored dress with a matching jacket. She went for a soft, natural glam look with her signature soft curled pixie cut. Jenner looked nearly picture perfect in the $4,290 gown until eagle-eyed fans noticed an error that had someone speculating that she uses filters. It wasn’t her figure or rejuvenated face that sparked the theory but rather some new development to her foot.

Kris Jenner has fans doing double take after some notice she grew a sixth toe. (Photo: @krisjenner/Instagram)

The momager’s left stepper caused conversation when fans noticed that there was a sixth toe on it. She had on black low-heeled sandals, which contrasted with her white painted toe nails. While she only had five white painted toes, fans seemed to believe that an extra toe was snuggled at the end of her foot. People that have followed Jenner know that she only has the usual five toes, so what some spotted as a sixth toe had someone thinking it must be a photo editing error.

A person who stated that Jenner must have enhanced her photos before posting them wrote, “Filtered so much that a sixth toe grew on that foot.”

Another person who noticed her foot said, “6 toe steppa.”

A third asked, “Why she’s having 6 foot fingers?”

A fourth also asked, “Does she have 6 toes or am I trippin?”

At times, photo filters can edit images where they end up becoming distorted rather than enhanced. Other errors and inconsistencies that can occur on photos included lengthened limbs and missing or added body parts.

It’s not so far-fetched that she may have used filters on the picture. In fact, it’s known that at least one of her six children adds changes to their photos before posting and that’s her third eldest daughter, Khloé.

In a July 17 episode of her podcast “Khloé In Wonderland,” the Khloud Protein Popcorn entrepreneur spent 30 minutes answering some of rumors about herself. One rumor was that she Photoshops every photom which she said was untrue but there was a time that she used to edit every photo.

She said, “There was a time that I was around some people that would make me feel like I needed to. I also think it was the era too. I felt like a lot of people were Photoshopping or heavily Photoshopping more than they do now.”

The mom of two also noted that she thinks it was the thing to do back in those times to edit photos and that nearly every person was doing it. She says when she looks back at those photos that she had “heavily photoshopped” she now thinks she looked like a cartoon character.
